Basically, she's taken me long and far.  But at the cost of maintenance, I've kept her alive for as long as I have.  What I've decided to do is simply list most of the jobs I've done, and when available, I've put up information regarding a lot of the common fixes.  I usually don't offer "directions" (though there are a few places where I have), if you're looking for information on a popular fix, see some of the "Great Grassroots Links."  Otherwise, email me and I'd be glad to beam you over some directions.  Otherwise, commentate on what I've written!   Any advice or changes I need to make?

What I've done so far on my Volvo:
PCV valve replacement (between the gap under the manifold of  the #3 + 4 cyls, see pict under Mechanical Picts Page)
coolant lines/hoses (the two near the fire wall too)
radio to tape deck swap (stock replacement) (really easy, but there are a few important tips)
recently installed CD player
rear speakers to the early 80s Volvo tape deck  (which was really easy, but took a little experimenting w/ the tape deck )
intake manifold removal and new gasket
cleaning/removal of injectors
battery/misc electrical stuff (of course) including fuse panel stuff
fog lights, headlights, blinkers, taillight cures, and other misc electrical stuff.
exaust  (y pipe)
cosmetics including seats, lights, grille, etc.
alternator replacements (and fidgeting)
dealing with the wiring harness problem
fidgeting and tailgate replacement of locks (with the gracious help of Skip Albright)
"Can swap a 240 radiator in 20 minutes"
fixing power windows
tires, wheels, brakes, and shocks
removal and basic assembly of power steering pump (and changing the fluid)
change steering wheel to a 240 Turbo/post 85 240 steering wheel (smaller and more "sporty")
fuel injector change and cleaning.

Installed, but not by me:
Rear "Overload" IPD springs for my Wagon.  These springs are totally awesome.  See Mechanical Picts page for a picture of the wagon before and after.
A new IPD Japanese Waterpump which made it instantly run much better.
OEM trailer arm bushings which got rid of the "clunk".  They were in really bad shape: pictures on the Mechanical Picts page.

Please also see Rusty's IPDUSA webpage for tips and directions on
throttlebody cleaning, changing flametrap (PCP Valve), an other common Volvo fixes.
